Shahla Aly is the Director of Customer Experience with Google for Work. In this role her focus is to enable an extraordinary experience for customers across every touch point.
She joined Google in April 2014 from Microsoft, where she spent 11 years in several divisions. Her last role was Vice President of Sales and Marketing IT.
Before joining Microsoft, Shahla spent 18 years at IBM in IT delivery, professional consulting, strategy and sales focused positions, including Vice President of Communications Sector at IBM Canada; Vice President of e-business Strategy for IBM Global Services at IBM Corporation in New York; and Vice President of e-business and ERP Services for IBM Global Services.
Shahla is a passionate advocate for diversity in the workplace. She has also served on numerous not-for-profit boards, including the Board of Advisors for Catalyst.
She holds a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Karachi . Shahla and her husband Hakim have a daughter and a son.
